Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026
World Corporation ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Flipzine platform at flipzine.co. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and a password (stored as a bcrypt hash). If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is processed by Stripe and we store only a Stripe customer identifier.
Uploaded content. PDF files you upload are stored on Cloudflare R2 (an S3-compatible object storage service). Page images generated from your PDFs are also stored on R2. You retain ownership of all content you upload.
Usage and analytics data. We collect anonymized analytics on publication views, including page numbers viewed, device type, country (derived from IP), and referrer URL. IP addresses are never stored in plaintext; they are irreversibly hashed using SHA-256 before being recorded. We do not collect personally identifiable information in our analytics tables.
Log data. Our servers automatically record information such as your browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for troubleshooting and service improvement.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Flipzine platform
- To process PDF uploads and generate flipbook pages
- To send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, publication status updates)
- To aggregate anonymous analytics for publishers
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To enforce plan limits and prevent abuse
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Flipzine:
- Cloudflare R2 and Cloudflare CDN — File storage and content delivery. Files are stored in Cloudflare's global infrastructure. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — Payment processing for subscriptions. We do not store your credit card information. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for the purpose of delivering account-related emails.
- Sentry — Error tracking and monitoring. Sentry may receive limited technical data when errors occur.
4. Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Session cookies — Required for login and authentication. These are essential cookies and cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — Used to track publication views and generate aggregate analytics for publishers. These cookies are only set after you provide consent via our cookie banner.
- Consent preference — We store your cookie consent choice in your browser's localStorage.
You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings. Declining analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the platform, but publishers will not receive view data from your sessions.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and uploaded files are permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to any individual.
6. Data Security
We protect your data using industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), hashed IP addresses (SHA-256), and access-controlled cloud storage. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@worldcorp.co.
8. Children's Privacy

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
